Design system, Astro

UX, front-end

I sit right between design and engineering, so nothing gets lost in the handoff.
I started out writing CSS for a newspaper in 2014 and slowly drifted into design. Today I take products from rough sketches to production code, usually as the first designer on a small team.
I care about plain language, honest defaults and interfaces that feel fast because they are fast. Outside work I teach a free front-end class for career changers and make far too much bread.

Kind words
Noa took a product nobody wanted to touch and made it the one our customers mention first. Rare mix of taste and engineering.
Our designers and developers finally speak the same language. The system Noa built is still the backbone of everything we ship.
